Two Massachusetts State Police troopers are credited with helping a young family after a mother gave birth on westbound Storrow Drive in Boston.

The emergency call was received around 11 p.m. Monday, and state police said the baby had already been born by the time Troopers Kyle Melvin and Matt Clark arrived. State police said they helped coordinate the scene and escorted the father to the hospital while EMS took the mother and baby.
